Allan’s life has been tarnished with death and love, friends and enemies, unexpected love and uncomprehendable hate. He had become used to everyone doubting him. He had also found satisfaction in proving them wrong.
His most recent accomplishment was 7/15/11. Allan was at Casa in the E-F cafeteria. Which had been newly decorated into a weight room? Robby, Chris, Greg, and Coach Freeman sat around chuckling to themselves at the thought of this 5’9 kid hex baring 500 hundred pounds. Hex baring is when you lift a hexagon shaped bar with metal plates on the side off the ground. As Allan put on the last 45 pound plate so there was five on each side along with the 50 pound bar.
“Hey Allan, let’s see if you can rep as much as I did.” Robby said trying to antagonize him more.
“How many times did you do this?” Allan asked playing along.
“I got this two times.”
“Then show me after I’m done.”
He let out one more breath before e began lifting. He felt all the muscles tighten. The weight started slowly moving vertical. Inch by inch he was getting closer. But he could feel the bar slipping from his grasp.  He was half way up when the bar was barley on his finger tips. He knew he would have to hurry. He gave out a grunt and gave it everything he had. The five hundred pound bar shot up to his waist, but the bar only stayed there for a second for it slipped out of his hands and hit the rubbery floor with a thud that rang out through the cafeteria. Everyone looked over curious about what made the noise then looked back to what they were doing. Though the best part about Allan is not his desire to push himself to prove someone wrong it’s that he doesn’t gloat afterwards. He had always been raised that way. And it’s from stories throughout his life that have been his creation.
